A short guide to keeping the Grace Medallion looking the way it did on the day it arrived.

Wearing it

• Put it on last — after perfume, hairspray, sunscreen, and lotion.
• Take it off first — before showering, swimming, sleeping, and exercise.
• Keep it away from cleaning products, chlorine, and salt water.

Cleaning it

• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
• Do not use jewellery dips, polishes, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive cloths on the shell-effect face.
• If it needs more than a dry wipe, use a barely damp cloth and dry it immediately.

Storing it

• Store it flat, on its own, away from other jewellery that could scratch the face or tangle the chain.
• Fasten the clasp before putting it away — it is the simplest way to avoid knots.
• Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from humidity.

A note on wear

This is a gold-tone finish on metal. Like any plated or coated finish, it will change with time, contact, and moisture. We have not tested it for tarnish resistance or water resistance and do not claim either. Treating it gently is what keeps it looking new.
